Isabella & Miguel love rustic vibes, so of course I took them to the Redwood grove in Carbon Canyon Regional Park for their engagement session. YEP A REDWOOD GROVE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. How crazy is that??
As we walked to their location we chatted more about their love story. Isabella had a crush on Miguel for awhile and finally made the first move the last week of 8th grade. 8TH GRADE. How stinkin’ cute is that?! Little did she know that Miguel liked her back! They dated all through High School until sophomore year when they each went oto separate high schools . Sadly this forced them to go their separate ways for awhile. Then in senior year, they were able to reconnect and have been together ever since. Now here they are 6 years late stepping into marriage together!
Their relationship is totally theirs, I could see how close their bond is with each other and they were a joy to be around! They are going to be such a strong couple together. I love that one of their favorite things to do is sit down together once a month and have deep conversations to check in with each other about their feelings. I think this is amazing and SO important!
They absolutely nailed their Carbon Canyon Regional Park engagement session, They were super nervous and had never had a professional shot before. But they were so giggly and sweet with each other we soon got them feeling comfortable and we all had a blast! I absolutely love the rustic forest feel of this park. It was the perfect backdrop to capture their love.
